Winner of the National Footwear Awards 2004, Kate Kuba retail exciting and fashionable footwear in their six stores across London. Established in 1993, Kate Kuba has successfully created a retail brand with an aspirational, glamorous polish.

Illustrated by their stylish store-fits Kate Kuba keeps adding to their continental-chic brand message across a wide range of footwear. The sharp buying team are quick onto new styles and must-have brands making sure that the stores are stocked with the latest ranges.

The Need
With a constantly changing and expanding range Kate Kuba were keen to improve stock availability, customer service and sales performance - and that's when they turned to Esperus Systems to provide an effective retail solution for their stores.

The Solution
Since the installation in 2002 Kate Kuba have been using the Genesis EPoS and Stock Management system from Esperus to more accurately forecast demand, replenish stock and transfer merchandise between stores. Having access to all stores' stock levels at the till enables staff to check availability, process specific orders quickly and satisfy their customers more often.

Whilst the management of stock has always been a priority, Kate Kuba considered the control and verification of credit notes and all types of payment of equal importance. Within weeks of the installation Kate Kuba were using Genesis to verify the validity of all payments at the till, significantly reducing the risk of fraud and tightening financial control throughout the business.

The Result
And the result, well as Kate Kuba's owner Costas Constantinou is keen to point out, the Genesis system has certainly helped us have more of the right stock range available to our discerning customers at the right time and without doubt, this has increased sales, profit and service levels across our stores. Esperus will become an even closer partner as we develop our business and wish to gain more operational benefits from this retail system.
